Registration will open on AUGUST 1st, 2024.

You register on the EMB site.  Once you complete that step, you MUST make a Tryout appointment on Signup Genius.  The link will be in your registration email confirmation.  If you don't see it in your email, check your spam folder.  Please select your Tryout Slot immediately upon completing your registration.  If you wait and forget, you risk not getting a spot on a team.

Younger age groups (10u and 12u Boys, 10u and 13u Girls) will start practices and games in October.   The season and tournament should finish up in early February 2025.

Older age groups (14U and 18U Boys & 18u Girls) will start practices later, in November, with games starting up  in early December.  The season and tournament should should finish up in early February 2025.

General Specifics about EMB Registration and Season

In order to keep up our level of success, we will need VOLUNTEERS to COACH as well as ADMINISTRATE.  Feel free to step up and be part of our next great season!! We also graciously welcome any funds through sponsorship support and continually rely on your charitable contributions to our Joyce Fox Scholarship Fund. Please check the box while registering to contribute in order to help those that cannot afford to play.

Our fees go to gym rentals, referees, uniforms, trophies, basketballs, and operating expenses. We have exceeded our capacity for the past 7 years and had to turn away over 100 players annually, so SIGN UP EARLY to get a spot to play.

TRYOUTS/EVALS are conducted for coaches to judge each players' abilities and thus equalize the teams. All teams in EMBL are drafted with PARITY as the ultimate goal.

D1 & D2 EXPLAINED:
As in years past, we have 2 different skill levels (Division 1 and Division 2) for ALL the BOYS groups (10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U.) Division 1 is generally comprised of the more skilled boys (TOP 20%) in the age group as they are older, bigger, stronger and faster. Both divisions are equally competitive.

REGISTRATION:
When registration opens on August 1st, please go to the online registration section and follow instructions to complete the registration process. A CREDIT CARD is required for payment. Please contact the COMMISSIONER of your age group with any questions.  Registration is a two part process (registering your son or daughter on the EMB website, AND selecting a Tryout slot on SignUp Genius).   Appointments for tryouts are REQUIRED.   You select the day and session you’d like your child to attend tryouts!  The link for Tryout Signup will be in your confirmation email after you pay and register.  If you do not see this email in your Inbox, be sure and check your Spam folder. 

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will only be given if EMBL is notified PRIOR to our DRAFTS (forming of the teams). There will be a charge of $3.00 withheld from the refund for a processing fee.
